 End of days. Friday, September 02, 2005 As we approach what is traditionally thought of as 'the end of summer' it's safe to say that many in the South are not going to enjoy what is always celebrated with cook-outs, beer and fun. As Americans, let's remember the feeling we have right now about the victims of Hurricane Katrina when we ponder voting for candidates who offer tax breaks and less federal spending and expending our resources, human and otherwise, for warring.
