Tuesday, April 27, 2010 ...remember although it seems like you there, it may not be. i keep trying to find myself somewhere in this photo work and i am not above just fucking shoe-horning my physical self in the shot...but that still don't make me in the work. it just seems like a struggle most of the time when trying to say what you want to say without using words, gestures and the proverbial sledge hammer. weird--i seem to see others in their images, am i just missing me altogether or do i even know enough of me to recognize it when i see it? while singing in my head 'i might disintegrate into the thin air, if you like.'
