![]() pluggin the holes. Thursday, February 25, 2010 damn, been so busy that something slipped through the cracks. a few eons ago, a ron slattery happened upon a box full of toy cameras. shakey's pizza models to be exact that were clones of the infamous great wall diana camera. he hollered at his friend and toy camera enthusiast par excellence bill vaccaro and they came up with a notion to send these cameras to some shooters, 31 of them in all, and have them go at it with these shakey's cameras. well, we shot, we scanned and we sent in the fruits of the aforementioned labors...and we all then went back to doing whatever it is that us with plasticized brains do...and then...out of the blue, it took a shape, the project, a book...The Shakey Photo Project. i haven't received mine yet and honestly, not even sure if it is available for public consumption but i will definitely let you know if and when it is. in the mean time, above is a shot from my shakey's. don't know why, but i love this photo, the streaks, the hat and a lot wrong with it...but not enough to dampen my feelings about it. i love a mutt. toofness.
