Monday, June 29, 2009 ixnay on the eathday will ya celebrities?! if you are like me, and i know i am, you are growing weary of the daily death dirge being played out online, offline and in line no matter where you may be. we had a discussion at work just now regarding who could die today that would upstage the MJ media feeding frenzy? i personally believe he just might be the perfect storm of celebrity deaths. he was a musical icon at one point who eventually became a behavioral health icon as his face continued to morph into the living version of the cartoon characterization of peter pan. through in child molestation charges, sperm donors, drug addiction, chimps, masks, lawsuits and jesus juice and well, he's hard to top...i'd say the sudden death of tom cruise might come close for the global appeal and mix of rumored sexuality issues, scientology and couch jumping...how about you, you got anybody...oh, and obama doesn't count, that is a given...the only good thing about the present climate of constant news is the cycle upchucks on itself daily so at any moment it could be a world coup or republican wife beating that takes over the headlines...we shall see, as always, it's still up in the air. weeeeee.
