hippies use side door.

the hippies are back and they are punks.

hey, i'm in my forties. i was/is a punk. in the 70s/80s/90s being a punk meant a battle of subcultures, punk emerged in the mid 70s as a reaction to a perceived 'sell out' by the hippie generation. punks tended to be somewhat younger, and were forging their own style to battle the disco bullshit and older hippie trip. when the Clash said 'phony Beatlemania has bitten the dust' to a generation of new forward thinkers, that meant, 'you had your chance with peace and love how about a little war and passion?'

so i do find it a little ironic that hippies vogueish again and now they are the punks. weird, look at the music underground, no, wait listen to the music underground and it's beardy, folky, flannely, and no doubt smelly. i think times new viking said it a while ago, 'the hippies are back and they're punks.' strange days indeed, no age, yeasayer, hush arbors, vetiver, espers, religious knives, blitzen trapper, damn, all hippies!!! but regardless, i reckon i'm getting old because they are all very, very good. seek them out.

respect the door. Diana. Ilford HP5+.
