Thursday, January 29, 2009 yeah, it's cold here. yeah, the power's been out all over town. yeah, trees down. yeah, cars crashed. yeah, and the economy continues to slump ever closer to the edge of a new great Depression -- if it isn't there already. but not to worry, just flip on the tube and there are Republicans--yeah, the very same ones who have very nearly kicked us over the edge are hunkering down and grunting like apes about big government, taxing, spending and birth control and family planning...do they think we are that stupid...again? think about this, they got every thing, i do mean every thing, WRONG, for the past eight years. can you name a success? can you honestly, give me one success? so now, they think they deserve a say in fixing the economy, why didn't you fix it instead of breaking it in the first fucking place? they have spent the last week badmouthing, lying (of course they are lying, they always are lying) and doing anything to place blame anywhere but where it belongs...uh, you lost remember, just a few months ago your candidate was still telling us that the fundamentals of the economy were strong. we can't trust your judgment and this just in...we no longer have to. obama put his hand out this time...don't be surprised if he ceases to and i don't think anyone with a brain will blame him. republicans, you have been on the wrong side of history for a long time, you continue to be. find a way to be relevant or don't, forward we go, shoveling through, shoveling out, a bit here, a scoop there...with our left hand for a change. dig it.
