 as simple as looking up. Thursday, July 17, 2008 for about 9 or so hours a day. when i lean back, look up, this bird is what i see. it was a gift from one of those white elephant xmas party things thrown at the day job. i got it, no one wanted to trade for it or any of that nonsense. i mounted it to a ceiling tile above my cubicle. it has miraculously outlived everyone else's crappy gift and at least once a week i turn it on and it flies in circles over my head attached to a piece of fishing line. it seems to exist as a metaphor for my work life... bird up.
