 small bit of winter. Thursday, January 10, 2008 to date, we've had two days of winterish weather here in the bluegrass. i am not complaining, those two days put the ol' benz diesel in the mechanic's garage...which did allow me to hear wrfl in the rental...but i digress. anyhow big league congrats are in order. my photo pal and yours, bill v., chicagonite, he got word that he received 3rd place in this year's upcoming krappy kamera show in soho. jill enfield, this year's juror, no doubt struggled to not give bill all the awards, he's worthy of a solo show anywhere in this great land and it is safe to say, he's the hardest working cuss in this little world of blurred picture shootin'. i am proud to call bill friend, he inspires me daily. oh, and while i'm talking a little about shows, one is going on right now in seattle at wallspace, which i was lucky enough to be included in. the show is called 'in a new direction.' check it--it's a good one and let me remind you if you are in that neck of the woods that you will not want to miss susan burnstine's show march 4 thru april 5. absolutely mandatory attendance required... flakes, trees.
