 here's to a newish type year... Wednesday, January 02, 2008 well, it's the second day of 08. i didn't really finish my best of lists in any real way...movies, shit, i liked zodiac, most didn't. ghost rider, even more didn't. 28 days later, effective, fido, fun and funny, babel, much better than i could have imagined. half nelson, again, much better than i thought it could be. sherrybaby, brilliant, sicko the same. superbad was very good as was the sleeper little music movie that could, once. the eggleston documentary, the war photographer documentary, juno. shit and i still haven't seen no country for old men, michael clayton or there will be blood... books...shit, i just look at good photobooks for the most part and there are two many to mention and many more i want...i got sick of political tell-alls, my mind ain't right for fiction of late... so anyway, here's to inspiration, plastic, smart people, light leaks, pictures and more time to do what is wanted... face of a frank.
