Saturday, November 03, 2007 i can't be the only adult happy with the fact that there are actually 'R' rated films being made again. everything from gross-out moment teen comedies, to bloody horror to oscar worthy dramas are actually showing boobies, saying the 'eff' word and attacking various conflicts and themes in a grown-up manner. it is too soon to say, but have we turned a corner ever so slightly on the oppression by conservatism? it happened a bit post-vietnam, when the US just got sick of war, the government, religion and artistically thrived for a brief period...as i said, it might be too soon to call it but let's enjoy...and create while we are in this lull in fascism. what do you say? hollywood in two parts.
