am i the only one on the east coast who recognized it was still daylight when trick-or-treat'n started this year? I guess we used to move the clocks earlier than we are this year. it was kind of disconcerting to see kids on the streets late evening sun. another alarming trend noted. more parents dressed up as they take their kids trick-or-treat'n...not necessarily a bad thing, i guess, but lard-assed devil women, with stubby cigarettes dangling from their oily red lips and rubber masked former sex offenders with bad shoes walking the neighborhoods can be disconcerting to your spidey and princess-bedecked toddler populations. i saw more than one kid scared by the adults trolling the sidewalks...i'm just saying, isn't there a Hooter'sTM halloween party these people can hang out at? there is a fine line between halloween being a cool holiday and the current rash of xmas style decoration and overly enthusiastic adult participation. can't we go back to bags of flaming shit on doorsteps, pillow cases full of candy and adults who stayed in their houses and hid with the lights out?
