i would be remiss in my duties of blogerian if i didn't mention the departure of one Karl Rove. as conservatives all gather to talk about what a genius this dud was i will stop to remind you that his win at all costs tactics did nothing but widen the gap between left and right, when we needed togetherness the most. bush, and the strange crew of people who surround him, seem to have an elevated sense of how history will portray them. i believe Rove will be considered the worst political strategist of the 20th century when all is said and done. the idea of making elections about one thing, these niches like gay marriage or stem cells or flags or jesus really has led to a further dumbing down of the electorate. divide, conquer, then fill posts with like-minded yes men, capable only of petty crimes hellbent to keep the slime in power while polarizing the nation. in a time of war, brought on by lies, rove managed to put party in front of country. history will not look kindly on this overplay of power. say goodnight Karl, you will not be missed.
