 passing. Thursday, July 26, 2007 this very sweet lady was a volunteer in the gift shop that is right beside my office. i chatted with her as i bought Tom's brand fig bars. i used to live on those things for lunch for a while, until my recent intervention that has me eating better...anyhoo. she passed away unexpectedly. a bummer really. she was always happy, like she is in the picture when you stopped to chat her up. she worked 1500 hours a year volunteering...that's really something special, if you think about it, to an organization. that spirit is going away, that volunteering spirit, I'm not making it up, we don't have much of that in the gen x and post gen x era...you should think about how you can help someone by volunteering a little of your time...i know i am going to try to... geri.
