Monday, June 18, 2007 sitting is the act of resting in a reclined position with the body supported by the buttocks or thighs. you probably are doing it right now. so while i have both you and your buttocks or thighs attention (remember move you ass and your soul will follow) let me remind you to pick up this month's Shots Magazine. i got a shot in there and so does my pal (as seen recently on a new bike!) Annabelle Texter. Shots, to me, is really the best of the best when it comes to non-commercial, art photography. still printed on newsprint, i first discovered the magazine when it was published right down the road here in Danville, Kentucky. Shots has featured big names like Michal Chelbin and Mark Sink and i've seen online friends like Gordon and Susan grace the pages. fuck, i wish i had my old Shots t-shirt still. if you don't get shots in your town, subscribe, every issue is inspiring, Russell Joslin, the publisher is himself a fantastic shooter and each issue shows the eye and aesthetics of an artist. we need more self-published, non-mainstream art mags, now more than ever. support those in existence every chance that you get. i know i do. sitting.
