Friday, June 15, 2007 if you pay attention like me and i know i do, there is a small, vocal, underground movement taking place in cities all over as more people are riding bikes as a form of defiance against cars, oil companies, war, politics, and the general state of the nation. a couple weeks ago about 11,000 bikers attended in some part or the other the Bike Film Festival in NYC...11,000! write it off as hipster bullshit or look upon it as a legit cultural shift, who gives a fuck, biking is back, it's hot, it's now...well, even if it ain't, it's doing something to kick us in the ass in a couple different ways...it's healthy, even if you are on your bike traveling to and from the bar or liquor store, you are moving your parts and that is something, lard ass and you are giving a finger to the industrial/war/oil complex by just pedaling instead of firing up the hoopdie. save a soldier quicker than jesus, just ride a damned bike. so, all i iz saying and i've said it before, put something hard and moving between your legs, you owe it to my world. spoke-n 4.
