When the assistant athletic director at Eastern Kentucky University, Dan McBride, left the Ohio Valley Conference baseball tournament in Paducah, he had more than just the team with him. McBride got into his car to find a large snake draped across the console, initially thinking it was just a joke. But as he began driving, the snake he thought was plastic, lifted its head. That's when the coach hit the brakes. Was the coach scared or what? Friend, Simon Gray, jokes, 'You can't act tough when you are sitting a foot and a half away from a snake.'
