Tuesday, May 15, 2007 write it down. it's a milestone of sorts. 500 images, 500 pages of wordstuff. 500. i have gotten a lot of support, recognition, kudos, rewards, atta-boys and back pats from this verb called photoblogging. i guess it is to some extent a completely egotistic, egocentric, ego-driven thing this thing but nonetheless i do believe it to carry some merit as 'my art.' it is something i am proud of, if for no other reason than i can claim it as mine. there just ain't many things we do that we can say we own...my pictures...i can say they belong to--wait, i should say 'with' me. that is really what photography is about on some level. art isn't owned, it just sort of lives with you... thanks for looking when you do. balloon frame #11.
