hey dope smokers, did you know that the University of Mississippi has a Marijuana Potency Project? i bring this up because as the gov't prepares to soup up another diversion in the form of a 'war on drugs' they are citing that the average levels of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana, in the current street weed rose from 7 percent in 2003 to 8.5 percent in 2006. the level has risen steadily from a measly 3.5 percent in 1988. the white house is using the project's numbers to warn us of the imminent danger of smoking this new potent weed...which i say, well, whatever, i don't partake myself--but until the gov't does something about the drugs pushed by the pharm industry and their lobby then you ain't ruffling my feathers over the harmful effects of increased pink floyd and twinkieTM cravings. according to the national survey on drug use and health 4.1 million Americans, or 1.7 percent of the population like to get their spliff on...of that 1.7 percent, 100 percent of them repeat a story to you that they told you yesterday 110% of the time.
