 film at 11. Monday, December 11, 2006 I hope film never goes away. This isn't a debate on which is better, film cameras or digital, I'm just saying... So yeah, The Film Lab here in Lexington is Central Kentucky's only custom lab, still doing it old school. My pals Vern and Mary (she's a brilliant photo artiste herself) process and print by hand. Vern used to process film for news on the TV...the old 'film at 11' phrase was for real and Vern used to actually develop the film for film at 11 for the local news. They are incredible and they like to drink too which is cool, except when Vern gets me really drunk. Film Lab #2. Holga.
