'there's rumbling of Bolton getting the pink slip at the UN as well, that would be another smart move from group of guys two days into a loss and seemingly humbled...although the Gates appointment can be looked at two ways at this moment; he was picked because he will 'stay the course,' which is bad or it is just another case of Bush 1's palsie-walsies coming to junior's crib-side one more time to give him the aged rubber nipple to sooth him in a time of crisis...and then they will all get back to 'staying the course' but calling it something else, which again is bad. i don't have my hopes up that the actual 'leadership' plans on changing, even though the politician that is Dubya is screaming around the White House halls wondering how they lost control. Rove, Cheney, et al. will continue to do what they have always done with the blind arrogance of the power hungry i am convinced, until the indictments eventually come...and they will i assure you...eventually. i know, 'enough politics for a while,' you just stopped by to look at picture doodles. tomorrow, i'll talk about something other than washington, i promise, i'm just pushing the envelope on that 'Best Writing on a Photobloggie!' thing. har (ahem) har.
