 yawn, stretch...gloat. Wednesday, November 08, 2006 well, late night watching the talking suits, early morning in the office...i'm fighting the urge to over-gloat about what happened in the elections. i won't flog a dead hose, you know where i stand. the u.s. and that means u and us and move slightly back towards the center after 6 years of the right tilt. my prediction that it would be a large night for dems in the house panned out and the senate was and is much closer than i dared even hope for. was this a strong statement from indy minds that Iraq needs serious, thoughtful action to move us out of there and but soon? i think so, even the evanglicals moved towards the left this election (we have better meth no doubt!). honestly, analyze this any way you like, this was a statement plain and simple that this White House has lost the war, wants to shred the Constitution and has financed their can-do attitude on the backs of the least wealthy whilst cutting taxes for those who least need the help. we have an opportunity to bring some checks and balances back and to move towards some real social agenda items that americans need and want. i sincerely hope the dems don't blow it, that is my hope for the future... but for today, i scream 'fuck all y'all, you arrogant power-mongering liars on the right.' the masses spoke, you lost, you deserved to, for the past 6 years you created K street corruption, you have us in a quagmire, you have tortured, you have repeatedly led us astray with the only goal being...keep your side in power...that ended on a brisk tuesday in november, 2006. sure, the spin from the drug-addicted lard ass Limbaugh and the rest of the Hannitys and the like is on, they will sell more commercials to fuel the propaganda for the angry white male sales rep population who can't get enough...but I got one word...Baghdad Bob....oops, that is two words...
