Sunday, February 26, 2006 following my beloved University of Kentucky Wildcats basketball team is really beating me up this season. after putting together 3 wins in a row against the bottom feeders of the SEC, yesterday they nearly eeked out a win on the road in Baton Rouge against LSU only to fall short late after tying the game with 27 seconds left. they face 9th ranked Tennessee in Knoxville on Wednesday. the Vols have lost one game at home...yesterday. so they are pissed. a chance for retribution for UK when the Florida Gators come into Lexington on Saturday. Billy D's squad embarrassed the blue in Gainesville a few weeks back. the Cats need one of these games to be a win and it needs to be impressive or they are barely going to squeak into the dance in March...sad days for blue bleeders. sad days indeed.
