World Toy Camera Day...my shot.
Monday, November 14, 2005
Wilder, green Hulk fist, bright light, Mark L, Kodak E100, cross-processed. WTCD, great fun if you are into shooting plastic hunks of junk. Mike Barnes, head cook and bottle washer at toycamera.com puts up with whining, wincing and what-not from over-enthused photobodies who have turned the day into an all-out battle of voting, winning and other crap that us humans do when we get together in groups. Cheers to Mike for being a sooper-trooper and to all the shooters out there who stop by here, great work, great spirit and great knowing ya even if it's only cyberly. I'll say it here, photography is art, art is not a competition, it's something you make, something you enjoy, you could not possibly 'vote' for a Man Ray vs. a Weston so no one should get wrapped up in then notion of 'your photo is better than mine.' Shoot for you. Shoot for me. Shoot.
WTCD2005. Diana (Mark L clone), +3 diopter close-up filter. Kodak Ektchrome E 100, x-pro'd.
